The real picture from gaza is not one of humanitarian crisis, it is a picture of a growing economy. But the Hamas is trying to satisfy all the arabs, even the hard-core islamists among them. GAZA (BNO NEWS) — The Red Cross in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday said that there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza despite problems such as daily rocket fire and the blockade in the region.

“There is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza,” said Mathilde Redmatn, deputy director of the Red Cross in Gaza. “If you go to the supermarket, there are products. There are restaurants and a nice beach. The problem is mainly in maintenance of infrastructure and in access to goods.”

Redmatn added that despite the problems the city endures a “surprising normalcy” but remarked that the rocket attacks from both sides of the Gaza Strip are a violation of international law.

“Rocket fire from the Gaza Strip is against international law because it is directed at civilians,” The Red Cross deputy director said. “We conduct dialogue with Hamas on the matter.”

The Red Cross official also said that blockade on Gaza Strip severely affects the proper delivery of all the needed humanitarian assistance in the region. Most of the infrastructures cannot be improved due to the closure.

“We are mainly engaged in the areas of water and sanitation. We are talking about a highly dense population. Most of the infrastructure cannot be improved due to the closure so we try to improve the situation with existing tools,” the director said.

The Red Cross in the Gaza Strip began operations in 1967. The organization works on an ongoing basis with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as the situation in the region requires it.

“We are documenting human rights violations according to international law and we speak with relevant parties on how to take care of the issue,” Redmatn added. “We are talking about captives, soldiers, wounded people, and in fact anyone defined by the Geneva Convention.”

Well, it seems that the ‘infrastructure’ needs to be maintained. And whose responsibility is it to maintain the infrastructure of the ‘palestinians’? They wanted autonomy, they evicted good Jews from their homes, who were able to maintain the infrastructure. So it is the responsibility of their leaders to provide them with this service, and thus to prevent the arabs from trying to kill Israeli Jews.

I do hope that the world sees these flotillas for what they are. Simple attempts to bring world opinion against Israel and the Jewish people. Israel must ensure that weapons do not reach the strip. We know that there are forces, specifically Iran, who are sending plenty of deadly and dangerous ‘toys’ to their henchmen in Hamas, Hezbollah, and Fatah.

Before the state was declared in 1948 the word ‘Palestinian’ was used by the British as the name for Jews who lived in the British controlled land. But the term was hi-jacked, just as the terrorists hi-jacked planes and buses in order to blow them up, in order to further their jihad against the Jewish state.

There has never been a country called ‘Palestine’ and there is no such thing as a ‘Palestinian people’. The arabs who are occupying Jewish land came to Israel in order to prevent the establishment of the Jewish state. The British Mandate gave approximately 70% of the British land to the arabs who established the states Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. The arabs who are occupying Israel belong in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan and should be motivated, either monetarily or physically, to move away from the Jewish state.

The arabs complain about Nakba, their disaster, but how about the Catastrophe that the arabs inflicted on their Jewish populations in 1948. How many Jews were forcibly evicted from their homes, their properties confiscated, when the Jewish state was established? I personally know a Jew of Egyptian heritage that was alive at the time. His family lost their fortune, their home, and their community. The expulsion of arabs from Israel would be justice for the injustice they perpetrated against the Jewish people.

“Palestine” is the name that the Romans gave to the land of Israel when they conquered this land 2000 years ago.

The “Palestinians” are Arabs who were brought to the region by the Ottoman empire as part of the Muslim occupation in the region. They are definitely not the tribes from Crete who settled down in the 5 cities of Gaza strip after the Exodus of Israel from Egypt. These tribes were called Philistines and they weren’t Arabs at all and the nowadays “Palestinians” are definitely not their descendants. The Philistines don’t exist as a nation nowadays.

There’s no “Palestinian”nation but an ARAB one which went out of the Arabian Peninsula and occupied dozens of lands, including the land of Israel.

The Arabs who were living in the land of Israel started to call themselves “Palestinians” only after the establishment of Israel in 1948 and prior to it they called themselves just ‘Arabs’ and this is how they called their organizations (‘Arab Higher Committee’) and their struggles (‘The Great Arab Revolt’) and nick named the land of Israel in different names such as ‘Southern Syria’.

There was an Israeli state in the land of Israel 2000 years before the evil prophet of Islam allegedly flying on a “magical horse” from Mecca to Jerusalem.

* There was an Israeli kingdom in the land of Israel.
* There were Israeli kings in the Israeli kingdom of Israel.
* There was an Israeli capital in the kingdom of Israel.
* There was and there is an Israeli essence.

Israel isn’t just a name of a state. It’s first and for all a name of a nation (Am Yisrael). Israel is the name of the father of the nation (Jacob) and Israelis are his descendants. The real meaning of the word ‘Israeli’ is someone who belongs to the nation of Israel and not only “a citizen of a state called Israel”.

The word ‘Jews’ was invented by gentiles. When the Persians, the Greeks and the Romans occupied the land of Israel they called all the Israelis in the name ‘Jews’ because at those days the tribe of Judah was the biggest and the dominant tribe which survived the exile of Assyria in which 10 tribes of Israel were exiled. The tribe of Judah lived in the Judean desert thus the gentiles who occupied the land of Israel called the members of this tribe (and also the ones of Benjamin and Levi who joined it) in the name ‘Jews’.

When Israelis (Jews) who live abroad go to synagogue they don’t read about Jews in the prayer books nor in the Torah but about ‘The Nation of Israel’, ‘The Children of Israel’, ‘The House of Israel’,'Shema Yisrael’ etc. They are Israelis because they belong to the nation of Israel even if they aren’t citizens of a state called Israel.Both the words ‘Jews’ and ‘Israelis’ refer to nationality, to ethnic identity and not to religion. Jews are members of the tribe of Judah and not “people who believe in Judaism”. And the nation isn’t called Judah but Israel, and so does the land and in the future the 10 tribes will return to this nation.

That’s why Arab citizens of Israel don’t define themselves as Israelis but as Arab/”Palestinian” citizens of a state CALLED Israel. They aren’t members of the Israeli nation but of the Ishmaelite nation. Ishmael used to shoot arrows at Isaac (father of Israel) while saying:”I’m only playing…”  That’s why there’s no “Israeli-Palestinian conflict” but a WAR that the Ishmaelites/Arabs opened on the Israelis.Also Muhammad murdered Israelis in Saudi Arabia who refused to accept this murderous pagan dream.

Couple of facts about Israel that the haters of Israel don’t like:

1. Israel became a state in 1312 B.C.E., two millennia before Islam.

3.After conquering the land in 1272 B.C.E., Jews ruled it for a thousand years and maintained a continuous presence there for 3,300 years.

4. The only Arab rule following conquest in 633 B.C.E. lasted just 22 years.

5.For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem was the Jewish capital. It was never the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even under Jordanian rule,(East) Jerusalem was not made the capital, and no Arab leader came to visit it.

6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in the bible, but not once is it mentioned in the Qur’an.

7. King David founded Jerusalem; Mohammed never set foot in it.

8.Jews pray facing Jerusalem; Muslims face Mecca. If they are between the two cities, Muslims pray facing Mecca, with their backs to Jerusalem.

9.In 1948, Arab leaders urged their people to leave, promising to cleanse the land of Jewish presence. 68% of them fled without ever setting eyes on an Israeli soldier.

10. Virtually the entire Jewish population of Muslim countries had to flee as the result of violence and pogroms.

11. Some 630,000 Arabs left Israel in 1948, while close to a million Jews were forced to leave the Muslim countries.

12.In spite of the vast territories at their disposal, Arab refugees were deliberately prevented from assimilating into their host countries. Of 100 million refugees following World War 2, they are the only group tohave never integrated with their co-religionists. 13. There are 22 Muslim countries, not counting Palestine. There is only one Jewish state.

14. Fatah and Hamas constitutions still call for the destruction of Israel.

15.During the Jordanian occupation, Jewish holy sites were vandalized and were off limits to Jews. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian holy sites are accessible to all faiths.

16. Out of 175 United Nations Security Council resolutions up to1990, 97 were against Israel; out of 690 general assembly resolutions,429 were against Israel.

17. The U.N. was silent when the Jordanians destroyed 58 synagogues in the old city of Jerusalem. It remained silent while Jordan systematically desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives, and it remained silent when Jordan enforced apartheid laws preventing Jews from accessing the temple mount and western wall.

18. Arabs started all five wars against Israel, and lost every one of them.

It is insane that the government of Israel is actually talking peace with these murderous beasts. There is no peace with those whose goal is to make the world clean of all Jews. There was no peace with Nazis, there is no peace with Islam which preaches every Friday sermon to kill Jews.

O Hashem, whose name is exalted, is awesome beyond words, and is King of the worlds. Jews have praised the name of Hashem ever since our father Abraham discovered him in a world full of idolatry. But one of the most inspiring portions of the Shabbat Sacharit davening is the reading of the Song at the sea. This is why we mention it so many times in our prayers, and how we inspire ourselves to raise our level to come closer to Hashem.

Parasha Beshalach is one of the incredibly awesome portions of the book of Shemot/Exodus. The Pharoah finally succumbs to the mind-numbing catastrophes which Hashem sent down to Egypt in order to humble him in the eyes of all the world. Hashem sends the Hebrew slaves down to the Sea of Reeds led by the pillar of clouds and the pillar of fire but Pharoah quickly angers {or as Torah says ‘Has a change of heart’} and sends 600 of his armed chariots to pursue the rag-tag slaves who are now trapped against the sea.

The Jews were petrified at the sight of these war chariots bearing down on them. Imagine the terror at the prospect of either drowning in the sea, or being hacked to death by the merciless Egyptians. Some of these Jews were even complaining against Moses, asking why he took them out to the sea to be killed.

Hashem promised Moses that he will take his people out. He tried to speak words of comfort to them but they became divided. Hashem split the sea just as all seemed lost when Nachshon Ben Aminadav jumped into the water up to his nostrils.

This is another theme which appears in Shemot concerning Miriam, Moses & Aarons sister. Moses mother and father had given up hope for the Jewish people in Egypt. Amram had divorced his wife, Jocheved, because of Pharoahs decree to kill all the Jewish baby boys. But Miriam was able to convince them to get back together, and remarry, and have another child because of a prophecy that the baby would be the redeemer of the Jewish people.

It was Miriams prophecy which allowed Moses to be born despite the loss of hope of her parents. When they saw the light which shone from baby Moses face they knew that Miriams prophecy had been fulfilled. This is why Miriam was so very interested in the fate of Moses after she set him adrift on the Nile in a basket.

Once the Jews had safely passed through the channels in the Sea, the Egyptians became arrogant and descended into the depths of the sea to pursue the Jews, in order to slaughter them. But Hashem had other plans for these Egyptian attack dogs. The sea was turned back and covered the Egyptian horse and its rider with water and they descended into the depths of the sea, like straw in turbulent waters.

The Jewish slaves witnessed their cruel oppressors being destroyed by the hand of Hashem. This is one reason the Jewish people must remember this event. Hashem wanted the Children of Israel to witness these cruel people being punished for their torment of Hashems children. This is why the sea spit out the bodies of the Egyptians onto the shore of the sea.

After the nation had assembled on the shore of the sea and witnessed the Egyptians bodies on the seashore they sang an incredibly awesome song to Hashem. This song we recite in our prayers on Shabbat in order to remember that awesome day.

How much does Hashem love his people? So very much that he led them out of the land of their oppression by clouds and fire, and smashed their enemy before their eyes. Many people say that we do not live in times of miracles and wonders.

But I disagree with those people. Miracles and wonders are everywhere around us only if we open our eyes to Hashems world. In a world of idolatry, much like we are surrounded by today, a Jew must be able to control how much of the profane we allow into our lives. When we say Shema we must concentrate on not following our heart and our eyes to stray after other forces in this world.

The nay-sayers would say that the plagues in Egypt were just natural events. They would thereby deny that Hashem was behind the scenes, sending clear messages to the Jews and to the Egyptians who eventually were able to see Hashem behind the plagues.

Hashem is a loving father to his children even when they have strayed far from their potential. The Jewish people need to turn back and face Hashem, and accept that they have fallen, and get back up where he wants us to be. There is a reason there is so much opposition to the Jewish people. There is a reason that there is Amalek in the world. We must be able to see Hashem and do what he told us to do in our Holy Torah.

Bless Hashem that we should all merit the final redemption. The glorious redemption from Egypt was the prototype for the future redemption. May we see it soon!

Why is the American media pulling the wool over the eyes of the American people? Why is the government lying to us about the motives? There are so many questions which are running inside my head it is making me dizzy. What happened last week at Fort Hood is most obviously an attack on America and American values. The perpetrator, who has been referred to as the ‘alleged attacker’, most obviously subscribed to a religious belief which glorifies violent struggle with what they perceive as the Great Satan.

WHY!

Why do the ‘journalists’ like Gerlado Rivera constantly make excuses for terrorists? To compare this attack with Columbine is completely insane. The struggle of Jihad is most obvious if a person opens his eyes around the world and asks who is killing the innocent people. Virtually the entire world is feeling the scourge of Islam. Now the Iranians are sporting to build some nuclear weapons. They have achieved a political position now where the world is almost resigned to a nuclear Iran. The repercussions of such a thing will be huge. Iran has a history of supplying weapons and terrorists to major organizations around the world. Iran will threaten the world once it has the ability to launch long range nuclear missiles. And we know that MAD {Mutual Assured Destruction} will not be a deterrent. These ‘poor’ childrens minds are twisted from such an early age that it would take 2 generations before the propaganda they have been indoctrinated with will be forgotten.

I try to remain calm as I watch the world which I grew up with slowly destroyed. Why! I scream out late in night under my covers. My eyes tear up when I think that my brother was a victim of these twisted demons. I ask myself why my fellow Americans have pulled the wool over their eyes and they pretend that there is nothing wrong. Political Correctness can be downright deadly at times.

The wake up call occurred eight years ago and yet America is still in a deep denial. I am trying my hardest to get the world to see that Islam is not the religion of peace which it calls itself. It is a very dangerous ideology which can easily be twisted to be ‘exciting’ and ‘dangerous’ and ‘glorious’ by the Imams to accomplish the goal of Sharia. 2) THE PROHIBITIONS OF “V’NISHMARTA” AND “V’LO SASURU”

QUESTION: The Beraisa states that we learn from the verse, “v’Nishmarta mi’Kol Davar Ra” — “You shall guard yourself from any evil thing” (Devarim 23:10), that it is prohibited to have sinful thoughts during the day which might lead to becoming Tamei at night.

There is a similar precept in the Gemara in Berachos (12b). The Gemara there states that the reason why the Chachamim instituted that the Parshah of Tzitzis be recited as part of the reading of Keri’as Shema is because it contains five important topics. One of these topics is that a person must refrain from thinking sinful thoughts about women, which is expressed by the verse, “v’Lo Sasuru [Acharei Levavchem] v’Acharei Einechem” — “You shall not turn away [after your heart and] after your eyes” (Bamidbar 15:39).”

Why are both of these verses — “v’Nishmarta” and “v’Lo Sasuru” — necessary? They both seem to be teaching the same thing!
